Boerne-based Westward Environmental Is a Prequalified Firm for Kendall County, Texas

We are a bird of a different feather. As our name implies, Westward Environmental offers comprehensive environmental services that include air, water, land, waste and recycling, with technical expertise to assist companies and communities with their regulatory and compliance strategies. We also offer extensive civil engineering services in the form of initial site assessments, planning, design, construction, project management and much more.

Our diverse offerings are why Westward has been selected to be included in Kendall County’s prequalified list of companies that can provide both engineering and environmental services, and the only one on the list that is headquartered in Boerne. The company began 26 years ago and has grown to more than 50 employees. Westward offers comprehensive services and technical expertise in environmental, engineering, ecology, geology, health & safety and range management.

“We are excited to be among the preferred and vetted environmental and engineering companies to provide services to Kendall County and proud to be the only locally headquartered firm,” said Westward President Tommy Mathews.

In addition to being a prequalified environmental and engineering company for Kendall County, Westward is also well versed in Boerne’s new Unified Development Code, specifically related to conducting Habitat Assessments for developers looking to develop on a lot greater than 10 acres within the corporate limits and/or ETJ of Boerne. If you are looking to develop property of any size on the southeastern side of Boerne, you may be required to submit a Geologic Assessment Report, a service Westward provides as well.

Westward is a State Registered PE Firm in Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana and Oklahoma, and a Texas Registered PG firm. We have several Registered Environmental Managers and other certified professionals who hold many licenses from the TCEQ, related to environmental quality standards and compliance.
