Westward Environmental, Inc. COVID-19 Response
There is nothing more important than the health, safety and well-being of our team members, clients and the communities in which we live and work.
For the last few weeks, we have been staying abreast of COVID-19 and adhering to mandates and recommendations from the State of Texas public health agencies.
We educate, endorse and practice strong hygiene and self-care to promote good health among our team members and all with whom we engage.
Beginning this past week, Westward Environmental initiated the implementation of the following policies and preventive practices to help keep our team members, clients and communities safe:
All international, interstate and non-local travel has been suspended until further notice
Local client inspections (SWP3, SPCC, Geologic, etc) will continue as always, provided client facilities are open, but there will be no social interaction between Westward staff and client personnel. All inspections will be emailed to the client after completed.
Our staff will practice “social distancing” and replace in-person meetings with video conferencing for all internal and external meetings where applicable
We are cancelling all educational seminars and vendor presentations until further notice
We have eliminated visiting guests to our offices for the time being
Westward employees will be telecommuting until further notice.
If any Westward employee or family member experiences symptoms of illness, even mild, the employee will self-quarantine for 14 days
If you find that, due to quarantining measures, you are not able to perform your normal in-house inspections, please contact us as we will have highly qualified and trained field personnel available to handle them during this crisis
Through these uncertain times we want you to know we will stay connected, productive and keep communication lines open. We appreciate your confidence in Westward Environmental, Inc.
